Dui Under 21

|

It’s safe to say that the youth of our communities are growing up faster these days.  As evidence of this fact, DUI convictions of people under the age of 21 and under the influence of some level of drug or alcohol are steadily increasing.  Despite the fact that the legal age to consume any type of alcoholic beverage in California is 21, more and more teens are taking to the streets under the influence.  It’s important to remember that by doing so, you trigger more serious consequences than just your basic first time DUI.

It’s important to understand that California has a unique set of laws that apply solely to situations where a person under 21 has been arrested for DUI, and that it is in your best interest to have an experienced DUI attorney on your side.
